Otis E Howard

Otis Eugene Howard, age 60 of Hammond, IN. passed away on January 7, 2021.  Otis is survived by his children: Otis L. (fiancé Gitaura Wade) Granberry, Edgard E. Howard, Aradine (Tyion) Grayson, Osha Rogers and Darrius Coleman; his special children; Gejuan Howard, Quanee A. Granberry and Chanel Coleman; his siblings: Milton Howard, Frank Howard, Willie Howard and Janette Howard Carlton; 16 Grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and his dog companion, Brutis.  Otis was preceded in passing by his parents, Willie B. and Geneva Howard.

Otis was the kind of man you would find singing and dancing as if nobody was watching, and often you would catch him in the middle of  his favorites Hall and Oats or George Michael.  He was a proud Semi Truck Driver, and on his downtime loved fishing with his children.  Otis looked forward to the times he could show off his cooking skills especially when it came to cooking breakfast for his adoring grandkids and often followed by a game of Tag.  He loved to travel, especially with his family.  Otis had a strong relationship with God and attended Hammond Baptist Church as often as he could.
