Miguel "Gilly" Luna, Jr.

Miguel “Gilly” Luna, Jr., age 22, of Hammond, IN passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023.

Miguel is survived by his Ma, Nicole; Pops, Miguel; daughter, Ella Luna; siblings: Nic, Javi, Noli, Anthony, Elias, Bella, Delilah, Gio, Xander and Xavier; Nana, Mary; Grandpa, Felix; Grandpa, Nick; Many aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in passing by his Grandmother, Maria; Aunt, June; Cousin, Frankie; and his Brother, Abel.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at 10:00 AM at LaHayne Funeral Home located at 6955 Southeastern Avenue, Hammond, IN.  Burial will follow at St John-St Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Hammond.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, September 15, 2023, from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at LaHayne Funeral Home.

Miguel was a loving father, son brother and friend. He had touched so many lives with his outgoing and outspoken personality.  His energy was always happy and cheerful, and he loved to dance.  Anyone who crossed paths with Gilly was instantly touched and drawn in by his contagious and beautiful smile that lit up a room.  Gilly was by far the life of the party. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
