Frank J Romano, Sr.

Frank J. Romano, Sr., age 77, of Hammond, IN passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023.

Frank is survived by his children: Frank (Melissa) Romano, Jr., Jennifer Romano and Christopher (Jessica) Romano; grandchildren: Anna (Doug) Turner, Gina Romano, Jaxon Romano, Lochlan, Capri, Sterling and Seraphina; sister, Rose (Phil) Santino; brother, Dominick (Wanda) Romano; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Frank was preceded in passing by his parents: Francis and Serafina Romano, brother, Rosario; and sister, Frances.

A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at 12:00 PM at LaHayne Funeral home located at 6955 Southeastern Avenue, Hammond, IN 46324 with Fr. Jeffrey Burton officiating.  Friends are invited to visit with family on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, from 10:00 AM until time of service at 12:00 PM. 

Frank was a Retired Station Chief with the Hammond Fire Department.  He enjoyed reading and loved looking for anything to fix or repair.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
