Edwin Ebert Obituary

Edwin J. Ebert, age 67, of Hammond, IN passed away Monday, April 13, 2009. He is survived by his sister, Phyllis K. Ebert of Fort Valley, GA; uncle, Richard A. (Joan) Ebert of Tucson, AZ; numerous cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rainie and Verna Ebert.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 17, 2009 at 10:30 AM from St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 8601 Harrison Ave., Munster, IN with Dr. Eric C. Stumpf officiating. Burial will follow at Concordia Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday morning at the church from 9:30 AM until time of services.
Ed was a lifetime resident of this area, a retired clerk from Inland Steel Co., and a 1960 graduate of Horace Mann High School in Gary, IN. He was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church of Munster, IN and the church Dartball Team. For information call LaHayne Funeral Home at 219-845-3600
