Wanda L. "Mamaw" Macon nee Wood, age 52, of Hammond, passed away Friday, December 7, 2012 peacefully with her son at her side. Beloved Wife of Robert "Bobby" Macon. Loving Mother of Shane (Heidi) Wood. Proud Mamaw of Mikalah Wood and Christopher Mize. Devoted Sister of Margie (Gene) McMillion, Donald Wood, and late Sharon Writt Cherished Daughter of late Johnnie and late Dorothy Wood. Fond Aunt of many nieces and nephews, other family members, and close family friends. Dear Friend to her cat Smoky. She had a heart of gold and to everyone, she was Mamaw. She was loved by all and will be missed by more.
