Wanda S. Hussey, age 88, of Crown Point, IN, formerly of Sauk Village, IL passed away Sunday, March 28, 2010. She is survived by 5 children, Carol Pierce, Patsy (Jesse) Aguilera, Mitchell E. (Karen) Hussey, Jr., Wanda (Kevin) Siko, and Arthur (Rose) Hussey, Sr.; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell E. Hussey, Sr., daughter, Eve Keener, and 2 grandsons, Clayton Leis and Arthur Hussey, Jr. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 10 AM directly from Salvation Army Chapel, 8225 Columbia Ave., Munster, IN with Major Robert Buttrey officiating. Entombment will follow at Skyline Memorial Park, Monee, IL. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday, April 2, 2010 from 3-7 PM at LaHayne Funeral Home, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, IN and Saturday morning at the Chapel from 9:30 AM until time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Salvation Army or the Alzheimer's Assn. Wanda was a lifetime resident of this area and a member of the Salvation Army for 80 years.
