Wanda Duplaga nee Lampa, age 97, of Valparaiso and formerly of Hammond, passed away Tuesday, December 01, 2015. Loving mother of Ronald (Amy) Duplaga. Proud grandmother of John Duplaga, Jennifer Duplaga, and Lynn (Daniel) Martz. Dearest great-grandmother of Scout Duplaga, Sarah Duplaga, Gavin Martz, and Christopher Martz. Preceded in death by her husband Anthony "Tony" Duplaga, her daughter Claudia Duplaga, and her parents John Lampa and Magdalena Lampa nee Stelmack. Wanda spent most of her life in the Hammond. She was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Whiting and belonged to the churches Dorcas Society. A Celebration of Wanda's life will be held on Friday, December 04, 2015 from 11 AM until time of Service at 12 Noon at LaHAYNE FUNERAL HOME, 6955 Southwestern Ave., Hammond with Reverend John Henry, Pastor officiating.
