Tina M. Stocker, 64, of Merrillville, IN, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025.

Tina was an American Legion Ladies Auxiliary member and a Legion Riders member at Post 261 in Cedar Lake, IN. Tina was an avid gardener and spent countless hours in her "backyard zoo," feeding every animal that came to visit, hummingbirds being her favorite. She was an avid junker and thriftier, but if you asked her, she was not a hoarder! She loved fishing and joyriding in the open air with Wenzell on their Harley-Davidson. Tina was a very kind, loving, and selfless person. Her home always had an open-door policy, and she had an open affectionate heart for anyone new brought into her loving arms. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren; she loved spending time with and shopping for them. Tina will be deeply missed by all who love her.

Tina is survived by her husband, Wenzell C. Stocker; children: Jonathan (son) and Stephanie Greer, Brian and Jennifer(daughter) Gabbert, Wenzell Cy Stocker (son) David C. Stocker (son) Tim and Stephanie (daughter) Weiderhold, Jacob D. Stocker(son); and Seven grandchildren: Brianna, Nathan, Damien Greer, Hailey and Alyssa Gabbert, River and Forrest Weiderhold; parents: George and Bonnie Nims, her nephew Myles Nims and Daniela Rincon and their son Mylo Nims. She was preceded in passing by her brother, Ryan Nims; grandparents: George and Mary Nims, Harold and Dorothy Ingram.

A Funeral Service will occur on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 1:00 PM at LaHayne Funeral Home, located at 6955 Southeastern Avenue, Hammond, with Pastor Eric Kleinschmidt of Redeemer Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 11:00 to the time of service at 1:00.
