Thomas A. McKeon-Hamilton, age 69, of Griffith, IN and formerly of Hammond, IN passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016 after a battle with cancer. Loving Father of Prudence (Brian) Moseley of Highland, IN. Tanya Hamilton of Griffith, IN, and Nicole Hamilton of Lake Station, IN. Proud Papa of Chad Moseley, Corey Moseley, Alexis Moldovan, and Blake Moldovan. Beloved Companion of Thelma Fant. Fond Uncle of many Nieces and Nephews. Loyal Friend to his dog Rufus and his hamster Harry. Preceded in death by his parents Grace and Andrew McKeon, and his step-father Charles Hamilton, and 3 half-sisters and 2 half-brothers, and 1 nephew, and his dog Duke. Tom retired from ArcelorMittal with Local Union 1011 after 38 years. He enjoyed his children and grandchildren, motorcycles, old cars, reading, football, and traveling to remote areas in the South and West. He spent 60 years in North Hammond before moving to Griffith. As per Tom's wishes, Funeral Services were private with the burial at Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond, IN. Funeral Services were entrusted to LaHAYNE FUNERAL HOME 6955 Southeastern Ave. Hammond, IN.
