Thomas "Tom" E. Zaranka, age 61, of Hammond, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015. Beloved son of Eleanor E. Zaranka nee Barzda and late Dr. Edmund P. Zaranka. Loving brother of Nancy (late Michael) Woolery. Proud uncle of Kara (Marco) Leon and Ryan Woolery. Devoted nephew of Frances (late Joseph) Gambino and Phyllis (late Ronald) Wicinski. Cherished cousin of Sheryl Wissmann and Jill (Steve) Schamberger. Tom enjoyed watching all sports, particularly the Chicago Blackhawks and the White Sox. He was a graduate of ISU and for a time, was a probation officer with the Lake County Juvenile Center. He was loved by many and will be missed by more.
