Thalia Rodriguez, age 20, of Whiting, passed away Friday, February 19, 2016. Loving spouse of Melissa D. Rodriguez nee Peschke. Beloved "Dada" of Rhylie Sheets. Cherished daughter of Christina Almaraz nee Rodriguez. Devoted sister of Janessa Pena, Isaiah Almaraz, and Isabella Almaraz. Proud Granddaughter. Fond niece and cousin of many. Preceded in death by her father Jose Pena and her cousin Eric Damion Rodriguez. Thalia was a Class of 2013 graduate of Whiting High School. She attended both Ivy Tech and ITT Tech. Thalia was a diehard fan of Batman, the Dark Knight. She was an electronic geek, always fixing or taking apart peoples phones. Thalia loved all kinds of music, especially Biggie Smalls, and she had Beiber fever. She always had to have a fresh haircut every week. Thalia was short but mighty and she embraced her shortness. She was loved by many and will be missed by even more. A Memorial Visitation celebrating Thalia's life will be on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 10:00 AM until the time of the Memorial Service at 1:00 PM with Reverend C.
