Obituary
Sherry L. Beeson nee Davis, age 59, of Hammond, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 29 years, Larry Beeson, her parents Howard and Selma Davis, and her brothers, Howard Jr and Edward.
Sherry is survived by her devoted brothers and sisters; Walter Davis, Donna Davis Harris, Judy Davis, Peggy (David Sr) Peterson and Ronald (Tammy) Davis. Her dearest goddaughter, Samantha; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Sherry will be missed by her loving cats, dogs and bird. Sherry worked as a Food Handler for Lincoln Elementary School for 20 years. She enjoyed collecting chime clocks, frogs and anything with a peace sign. She will be deeply missed by her many friends and family. The family would like to encourage everyone to wear something tie-dyed.
A Celebration of Sherry's Life will be held on Wednesday, May 06, 2020 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at LaHayne Funeral Home , 6955 Southeastern Avenue, Hammond, Indiana. There will also be a family only time from 11:00 AM until 1:30 PM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sherry's family in care of Joseph and Heather Peterson at 3514 - 41st Street, Highland, Indiana 46322.
Because of the coronavirus, 10 people will be allowed at a time on a rotating basis inside the funeral home. The family would appreciate the use of masks at all times.
