Sharon E Murzyn, age 83, of Hammond, IN, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2025.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 64 years, Frank Murzyn; children: Craig Murzyn, Ronald Murzyn, Jacqueline (Pat) Kamching; grandchildren: Jennifer (Stephen) Yancey, Bradley (Judith) Murzyn, Jessica Kamching, Briana Kamching; great grandson, Parker Yancey; brothers: Richard (Susan) Narug and Leonard (Barbara) Narug; numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in passing by her parents: Stanley and Virginia Narug; son, Mark Murzyn; siblings: John, Stanley, Jr., Gregory, Ronald, Joseph, Michael, Anthony, Scott, Nancy Kucera and Judy Kucera.

A Funeral Service will take place on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 10:00AM at LaHayne Funeral Home with Father Jeffrey Burton officiating.  Burial will follow to St. John - St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Hammond.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 4:00-7:00 PM at LaHayne Funeral Home located at 6955 Southeastern Avenue, Hammond.

Sharon was a member of St. Victor Catholic Church in Calumet City, IL and was a Precinct Committee Woman in Hammond, IN.  Her hobbies included going to bingo with her friends, traveling, bowling, ceramics, stained glass, doll collecting and cooking.  Sharon will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
