Sharon S. Mauch, age 72, lost her second battle with cancer on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. Sharon always said that being a mother was her one true calling. After the exhaustion of raising 5 children, Sharon decided to go work for American Sale, where for 2 decades she was known for her festive Christmas tree decorating. Sharon was a content woman who valued the simple things in life. She enjoyed spending time with her family and playing board games. Most of all, she enjoyed being a devoted mother, Nana and great Nana. Sharon always "drove by" her own set of rules, always knew where she was going but never knew how she got there. She is survived by her five children: Rebecca Mauch, Daniel Mauch, Kimberly Mauch, Erin (Anthony) Sharpe, Nicholas (Jackie) Mauch; two grandchildren: Andrew and Colin; one great-grandson, Mason; her 4-legged companion Murray. She is also survived by her sister at heart, Nancy Garrett; her best friend and partner in crime, Barb Peacock; sister-in-law, Dorothy Vasilko. Preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, William Mauch and her parents George and Sue.
