Rosemary Townsley nee Fagan, age 87, of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 3, 2014. Beloved daughter of late Charles and late Barbara Fagan. Cherished wife of late James Orville Townsley. Loving mother of Barbara (Randy) Colwell, James (Cynthia) Hamersley, Cynthia Alfaro, Sharon (Richard) Rarick, and Richard (Celia) Townsley. Devoted sister of late Charles "Sonny" (Virginia Ferguson) Fagan. Proud grandmother of 14. Dearest great-grandmother of 9. Rosemary retired as a CNA at St. Margaret Hospital after 25 years. She was an avid reader. She traveled the world with her husband Orville and had a wonderful life. Funeral Service will be held at 6:30 PM on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at LaHAYNE FUNERAL HOME, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, IN. Private Interment St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN.
