Obituary
Rosemary Theis nee Mancino, age 73, of Hammond, passed away Monday, September 08, 2014.
Beloved wife for 51 years to John C. Theis Jr. Loving mother of late John C. Theis III and Mary Jane (Jerry) Poracky. Cherished sister of Patricia (Dennis) Lang, Jeanie (David) DeHaven, Gary (Anita) Posey, David (Dr. LaLah) Posey,
Michael Posey, and late James "Jimmy" Posey. Proud nonna of Thomas (Laura) Poracky and Kristen (Anthony) La Rocca. Dearest great-nonna of Landon Poracky and Baby Poracky due in February of 2015. Devoted sister-in-law of Beth Sheffield and Ann McHanon. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents Hubert and Mary F. Posey nee Oliverio.
Special friends of the Wounded Healers and Father de Ranitz and special thanks to St. Jude for all your answered prayers.
Rosemary made a full time career of lending an ear and a helping hand to anyone who needed advice. Her heart was too big for this world. She was the wind beneath our wings.
To help celebrated Rosemary's life, she would have loved it if everyone dressed casual.
Friends are invited to meet with the Family on Thursday, September 11, 2014 from 2 PM until 8 PM at LaHAYNE FUNERAL HOME, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond. Service Friday, September 12, 2014 at 10:30 AM at LaHAYNE FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Stanley J. Dominik officiating. Interment St. John Cemetery, Hammond.
