Rose Mary Parks age, 88 of Hammond, IN passed away March 28, 2009. She is survived by her Son; Jack E. Jr. (Mary pat) Parks, Nieces; Lorraine, Virginia, and Gail, Nephews; Marty, and Bobby, and many nieces and nephews, and special caregiver; Josie. Rose Mary is preceded in death by her Husband; Jack E. Parks Sr. three sisters; Lottie, Mary, and Anna, four brothers; Joseph, Stanley, Frank Sr. and John. Funeral Services will be held Friday April 3, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the LaHayne Funeral Home 6955 Southeastern Ave. Hammond, IN with Rev. Richard Orlinski officiating burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery Hammond, IN. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday April 2, 2009 from 4 - 8PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. Rose Mary was a resident of this area for 55 years, a former member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Hammond, IN. Rose Mary was dedicated and enjoyed her job as a crossing guard at Jefferson Elementary School for 15 years, she had a great love for her family and friends in the neighborhood, she also loved to travel and had a love for singing and music.
