Rosella M. Jillson, age 85, of Hammond, IN passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022.

Rosella is survived by her children: Kathy (Jack) Fields, David Jillson and Cindy (Joe Wilson) Call; granddaughters: Kelly (Fiancé, Jesse Cabello) Overy and Julie Overy; 3 great grandsons: Jose, Roman and Gabe; and great-great granddaughter, Eli.  She was preceded in passing by her parents: Gilbert and Johanna Schuitema; and her siblings: Jack, Bud, Ronnie and Ethel.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 10:00 AM DIRECTLY at St. Joseph Catholic Church located at 5304 Hohman Avenue, Hammond, IN with Fr. Jeffrey Burton officiating. Cremation will follow the Services.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, December 9, 2022 from 4:00-7:00 PM at LaHayne Funeral Home located at 6955 Southeastern Avenue, Hammond, IN.

Rosella was a long-time member of St. Jospeh Catholic Church in Hammond and dedicated much of her time to The Altar and Rosary Society. She loved going to the boats with her friends.  More than anything, Rosella loved her "Grand Babies".  In lieu of flowers, family requests Memorials may be given to: St. Joseph Catholic Church Altar and Rosary Society.
