Ronald "Ron" M. Gould, age 69, US Marine Corps Veteran and POW of the Vietnam War, of Hammond, passed away Friday, May 27, 2016. Loving husband for 46 years to Diane E. Gould nee Sorenson. Beloved father of Susan (Mike) Novak and Randy Gould. Fond brother to 2 sisters. Devoted son-in-law of Louise Sorenson. Cherished brother-in-law of Linda (Mark) Selegue. Preceded in death by his parents Raymond M. Gould and Dorothy Gould nee Fritz. Ron was a Master Diver with the Marines and worked as an auto mechanic for many years. He was an avid SCUBA diver and trap shooter. Ron was loved by many and will be missed by more. Friends are invited to celebration of Ron's life on Friday, June 10, 2016 from 12 Noon until time of Service at 2 PM with Dr. Bassam Abdallah, Pastor at LaHAYNE FUNERAL HOME , 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, IN.
