Rojelio "Roy" Valdez, Jr., age 33, of Hammond, IN, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023.

Roy is survived by his father, Rojelio (Jenny Mayberry) Valdez, Sr.; his mother, Jeannie Valdez; siblings: Danielle (Andrea "Tutu") Rubio and Blake Pool; and his daughters: Nevaeh Valdez and Cataleya Valdez; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Memorial Visitation will take place on Friday, September 8, 2023, from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at LaHayne Funeral Home located at 6955 Southeastern Avenue, Hammond, IN 46324.

Roy had an amazing personality and was always being goofy or funny. He loved to make people laugh.  He was a very talented artist.  Roy was the type of person to always be there when needed. He was always happiest when in the company of his family and above all else, he loved his daughters.  He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
