Roger W. Travis, age 60, of Hammond, IN., passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025.

Roger is survived by his wife of 31 years, Angela Travis; his children: Dylan Travis and India Marks; grandchildren: Elias and Dilynn; brother, Darryl (late Sandra) Travis; sister, Debora (Gerald) Evans; several nieces and nephews.  Roger was preceded in passing by his parents: James and Frankie Travis; and his brothers: Larry and Arthur.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM, LaHayne Funeral Home located at 6955 Southeastern Avenue, Hammond, IN, with Rev. Derrick Garth officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Evergreen Park, IL.

Friends may meet with the family on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at LaHayne Funeral Home from 4:00 until 8:00 PM.

Roger graduated from George W. Collins high School, Class of 1983. He was a former employee of Metroplex Management Company in Chicago, IL. Roger formerly dedicated his time and skills to coaching youth teams in baseball, basketball and football; and also coaching a Women's Softball team. In his younger years he played in the Midway Football League in Chicago. While he loved all sports, he was an avid Chicago Bears fan. Roger was definitely the man to go to when you needed help. He will be missed immensely by all who love him.
