Roger "Rog" M. Kroush, age 82, US Army Veteran of the Korean War, of Hammond, went to his Lord with shouts of acclamations and singing of hymns on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 Loving husband of Marjorie J. Kroush nee Glaze Beloved father of Gregory M. Kroush, Pennie M. (Chris) Klucina, and James M. (Randee "Dee Dee") Kroush Devoted brother of Joyce Hale and late Frances (late Joseph) Vickers and brother-in-law of James (Linda) Glaze and Nancy (Howard) Doan Proud grandfather Mandy and Ben Flores Dearest great-grandfather of Emmaline Elyse Will be missed by his furry grandchildren Molly, Jack, Stella, and Whitney Cherished son of late Merlin and late Grace Kroush nee Meinzer Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews Rog was employed at Lever Bros for 43 years as a pipe fitter/welder. He was a life member of the VFW Post 3029 and a member of the American Legion Post 232. He also coached in the Hessville Little League and a member of The Hammond Christian Reformed Church. Funeral Service Friday, December 30, 2011 at 11 AM at The Hammond Christian Reformed Church, 1910 - 167th Street, Hammond with Pastor John Kostelyk, officiating. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Thursday, December 29, 2011 from 3 PM until 8 PM at LaHAYNE FUNERAL HOME, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond.
