Robert C. Winston, age 49, of Crown Point, IN , formerly of Hessville, IN, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Julie M.; 4 children, Sasha, Craig, Shane and Trisha, 2 step-children, Stephanie and Jacob; 5 grandchildren; father, William & Glenida Winston, Mother, Dee and Doug Kennedy; 3 brothers, William (Geri) Winston, Twin brother, Don (Darcy) Winston and Ryan (Gina) Kennedy; l sister, Paula (Ernie) Miraldi, numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Monday, May 24, 2010 at 7:30 PM from LaHayne Funeral Home, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, IN with Rev'd. Roger Storms officiating. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Monday from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. A trust fund is being set up for the children. Bob was a lifetime resident of this area, worked as a Deli Cook at Food For Less, served in the U.S. Army and received a Culinary Arts Degree from Ivy Tech in 2007.
