Robert E. Trost, age 74, US Army Veteran, of Hammond, Indiana, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Judith Trost nee Tangerman, his daughters, Bernadette Trost, Rebecca (Thomas Seguin) Trost, Jennifer Trost and one Son, Robert (Cindy Hernandez) Trost; Grandchildren: Matthew and Shaun Seguin, Antonia, Ava, and Casimir Hernandez-Trost, C. Celeste Hernandez, and foster granddaughter, Kayley Carson; Step-Children: Gina Hansen-Zielinski, Jeff (Jennifer) Huffman, Tracy Huffman, and Amy (Tom) Huffman-Fleming. Brother, Thomas "Terry" (Pat) Trost, Sister-in-law, June (Thomas) Lewallen, and several nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by his father, Harry Trost, and mother, Lillian Allison-Trost. The mother of his children, Madelynne Karp-Trost, and Pauline Cherven-Trost. Robert worked and retired from Inland Steel after 30 years of service. He enjoyed his retirement by being around family and his grandchildren. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
