Richard M. Ambrozy, age 85, of Hammond and formerly of Whiting, passed away suddenly Friday, December 6, 2013. Beloved father of Cynthia M. (the late Daniel) DenHartog. Gloria Oparka, and Sherry Hepp. Loving brother of Mary Ann (the late Edward) Pupsiewicz Proud papa of many Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews Richard retired after over 30 years with the IHB Railroad. He was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Church in downtown Hammond. Richard enjoyed playing Bingo and his trips to the boat. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 12 Noon at LaHAYNE FUNERAL HOME 6955 Southeastern Ave. Hammond. Interment St. John Cemetery.
