Rebecca J. Bailey, age 65, of Munster, formerly of Hammond, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023.

A Funeral Service will be held at LaHayne Funeral Home located at 6955 Southeastern Avenue Hammond, IN 46324 on Wednesday April 12, 2023 at 12:00PM with Pastor Chris Steffan officiating.  Cremation will follow the services.  Friends are invited to visit with the family at LaHayne Funeral Home at 11:00 am until the time of service at Noon.

Rebecca is survived by her nieces: Amy Alexander and Candace (Gus) Kouros; great nieces and nephews: Ashley Alexander, Tricia Kouros, Eric Alexander, Dylan Alexander and Sean Pinson; great-great nieces and nephews; and her beloved friend who was like a sister, Kay Deal.  Rebecca was preceded in passing by her husband, William Bailey; and her brothers: Keith (late Pamela) Alexander and Larry (late Sharon) Alexander.

Rebecca was very religious and she loved listening to Christian music.  She enjoyed going for small walks.  Rebecca was kind hearted and devoted her time caring for others, including her brother Keith.
