Randy "Rat" A. Tretter, age 55, US Air Force Veteran, of Hammond, passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, August 30, 2017. Loving father of Kayla (fiancé Ladarero Mitchell) Barrentine and Sara Tretter. Beloved son of Shirley A. Fusko nee Ziembicki. Devoted brother of David (Angie) Tretter, Terry (Mollyann) Tretter, and Rosemary (Michael) Alvarez. Proud grandfather of Nevaeh Mitchell. Fond uncle and cousin to many. Preceded in death by his father's Francis Tretter and Rudolph Fusko. Randy was a lifelong resident of Hammond. He worked for about 15 years with Youngstown which became Arcelor Mittal. He was a huge Star Wars and Star Trek fan. Randy enjoyed his many trips to the Dells. His family would like to thank Ross for all that he did for Randy. Randy was loved by many and will be missed by more.
