Pearl D. Wagner nee Burchardt, age 88, of Hammond, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012. Cherished wife for 52 years to the late Lee J. Wagner, Jr. Loving mother of Carol (Bob) Miszewski, Sharon (Larry) Marszalek, Lee J. (Angie) Wagner, III. Beloved sister of Dolores (Joe) Janisch. Proud grandmother of Robert (Mickie) and Eric Miszewski, and Brian, Anthony (Sara), and late David Marszalek, and Allison Wagner. Dearest great-grandmother of Joey and Adam Miszewski. Fond aunt and cousin to many. Pearl was a graduate of Bowen High School in Chicago. She worked at Kellog Switchboard during WWII and then became a loving housewife and mother. She was a Past President of the American Legion Auxiliary Hammond Post 168 and a current member of the 8 / 40 Northwest Indiana Chapter. She will be loved and missed by all.
