Patricia M. Johnson, age 76, of Hammond, IN passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2010. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Frederick W.; 5 children, Timothy Sirbas, Paul Sirbas, Kathleen Sirbas, Margaret Hayden and Christopher Sirbas; 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Margaret Jackson and Betty Cousins; father of the children, George Sirbas. She was preceded in death by her 2 children, Georgiana Forsythe and Michael Sirbas. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 8, 2010 at 10 AM from LaHayne Funeral Home, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, IN with Pastor Lou Rodriguez officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Sunday, March 7, 2010 from 2-6 PM at the funeral home. Patricia was a resident of this area for 50 years, a member of Suburban Bible Church of Highland, IN and worked as a nurse at St. Catherine Hospital, East Chicago, IN.
