Patricia Dawn "Patti" Kasper nee Grekoff, age 65, of Hammond, passed away, Sunday, October 19, 2014.

Cherished wife of the late William Kasper. Loving mother to Kyle Kasperof Hammond, IN. Proud sister of Karen Clark of Jacksonville, FL and Jan (Richard) Pagoria of Elon, NC. Beloved sister in-law of Linda Grekoff of Kingman, IN. Fond aunt of Christi Veleta of Jacksonville, FL, Scot Millgard of North Ridgeville, OH, Larry Grekoff and Todd Grekoff of Kingman, IN, Matthew (Jennifer) Hedinger of Annapolis, MD, Mark Hedinger of Aurora, CO and Jessica (Christopher) Sullivan of Manhattan, KS. Many great nieces and nephews and a host of loving friends. She also leaves behind her furry friend Fritz. Patti was a loving mother to Kyle and an all-around selfless human being. Devoted daughter of the late Carl Grekoff and Genevieve Grekoff nee Burton.

Patti attended Hammond Tech High School where she was head majorette and baton twirling genius for the Tigers. She received an associate's degree in business. Patti served on the Hammond Police Force for 29 years. She retired in 2006 as a detective sergeant and had specialized in crime scene investigation. She was a member and officer of the Fraternal Order of Police # 51, Hammond.
