Pamela "Mrs. B" K. Bertalan nee Lane, age 60, of Hammond, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015.

Beloved wife for 40 years to Ronald L. Bertalan. Loving mother of Ian (Michele) Bertalan and Tracy (Derek) Hansen. Cherished daughter of Malvern S. Lane. Devoted sister of Debbie (Steve) Reichert. Proud grandmother of Jacey, Riley, Kylee, Zoe, and Cody. Fond aunt of many. Preceded in death by her mother Donna M. Lane nee Davis and her brother Martin Lane.

Pamela loved animals, gardening, and sewing. She was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying camping and fishing. Pamela was the neighborhood mother, raising many of the neighborhood kids. Everybody enjoyed sampling her cooking. She was most proud of her title of grandma. She was loved by many and will be missed by more.

A Celebration of Pamela's life will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2015 from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM with a Service at 3:00 PM with Deacon Jim Renwick officiating at LaHayne Funeral Home, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, IN.
