Orlando G. Rosa, age 45, of Hammond, passed away suddenly in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Treasured son of the late Herminia Rosa and the late Ernesto Gonzalez. Beloved husband of Marie A. Rosa nee Montanez-Alvarez. Loving father of Sarah M. Nunez. Cherished brother of Rafael Gonzalez, Maria "Rosita" (Samuel) Ruiz, SR, James Gonzales, Carlos Claudio, Eddie Claudio, and Robert (Bobby) Lebron. Dearest brother-in-law of Luis (Barbara) Alvarez, Carlos (Hilda) Alvarez, and Margaret (the late Ruben) Miramontez. Fond uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews. Proud Nephew to many Aunts and Uncles and cousin to many in Connecticut, New Jersey, Virginia, and Puerto Rico. Loyal Friend to his dog Emma Mae Rosa and his bird Freddie Rosa. Orlando was a huge Chicago Bears fan. He enjoyed creating things with his hands for himself, his family, and his neighbors. In fact, he was the neighborhood handyman. Orlando especially loved vacationing with his wife Marie in Puerto Rico. He was loved by many and will be missed by more.
