Nora Gonzalez York, age 68, of Hammond, IN., passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024.

Nora was a much-loved daughter, sister, and steadfast friend to the innumerable people blessed to know her. Her memory will remain in their hearts forever:

She is survived by her daughters: Dawn (Fred) Soule and Sarah York; grandchildren: Oliver, Lucas, Isaac, and Elewyn; siblings: Vickie (James) Blackwood, Ernie (Diana) Gonzalez, Diann Kimmel, Olivia Gonzalez and Rosemary (Jon) Walthour; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and her extended Walmart Family.  She was preceded in passing by her parents: Ernest and May Gonzalez; and her beloved partner, Jack Glenn.

Inurnment will take place on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 9:30 AM DIRECTLY at St. John-St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery located at 1547 167th Street, Hammond, IN.
