Nikolaos Petros Argyropoulos was born in Soulari, Arcadia, Greece on August 10, 1938 and passed away in Crown Point, Indiana on Monday, May 11, 2020. He was 81 years old.

He served conscription in Greece for 2 years. He enjoyed watching wrestling, war movies and soccer. He was from Hammond, Indiana and formerly of Hegewisch and was active with Assumption Greek Orthodox Church.

Nikolaos is survived by his children Petros Argyropoulos and Ioanna (Antonio) Reyna. His grandchildren Nicholas and Mary Argyropoulos and Kathleen and Athena Reyna. His siblings in Greece, Xariklia (Antonis) Karagiannaki, Panayiotis (Popi) Argyropoulos, Barbara (Aristidis) Pantazis and Christina (late Angelo) Vilioti and his sister-in-law Soula Argyropoulos.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Ekaterini Argyropoulos nee Kostopanagiotou, his parents Petros Argyropoulos and Augerini Argyropoulos nee Xasoula and his brother Elias Argyropoulos.

Friends are invited to meet with Nikolaos's family on Saturday, May 16, 2020 from 9:00 AM until time of Service at 11:00 AM with Father James Doyle officiating at LaHAYNE FUNERAL HOME, 6955 Southeastern Avenue, Hammond, Indiana 46324.
