Nicholas "Nick" Johnson, age 37, of Hammond and formerly of Indianapolis, passed away suddenly Saturday, October 29, 2016. Beloved father of Isabella "Bella" Smelko, Gia Smelko, and Luke Johnson. Devoted son of Kim Johnson nee Popa and Mark Kertis. Loving brother of Julie Kertis. Proud uncle of Amelia and Adeline. Special friend of Estella Ramirez.
