Michael L. Novosel, age 95, of Hammond, IN passed away Thursday, July 8, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Genevieve; 3 children, James Novosel of Munster, IN, John (Eve) Novosel of Schererville, IN, and Betty (Joe) Petrovich of Porter, IN; 4 grandchildren, John (Jenny) Novosel of Schererville, IN, Nicole (Steve) Guernsey of Dyer, IN, Joe (Kathy) Petrovich of Porter, IN and Diane (Brian) Porrett of Valparaiso, IN; 9 great grandchildren, Joshua, Zachary, Noah, Macey, Connor, Ashley, Joey, Matt and Andy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Katherina Novosel, and a brother, Matthew Novosel. Private funeral services were held Saturday, July 10, 2010 at LaHayne Funeral Home, 6955 Southeastern Ave, Hammond, IN with Rev. Charles W. Niblick officiating.
