Michael "Firestone Mike" J. Zither, age 58, US Army Veteran, of Hammond, passed away suddenly Wednesday, September 25, 2013. Beloved Husband of the late Theresa Lynn Zither nee Harris. Loving Father of Yvette Lynn (fiancé Brian Richard) Zither. Cherished Brother of Diane Whitlock. Fond Uncle to many Nieces and Nephews. Mike was a huge Bears and White Sox Fan. He enjoyed watching WWE and loved to travel. He was also a member of the American Legion Hammond Victory Post 169.
