Michael "Mike" L. Grubich, age 55, of Hammond, passed away Friday, March 2, 2012. Cherished son of Jessie Grubich nee Fissus and late Tony Grubich. Proud father of Nicole Wells. Loving brother of Margo Mack, Toni Howard, Stella Whaler, late Nick Grubich, late Paul (Margie) Grubich, John Grubich, and Steve Grubich. Beloved fiancé of Janet Larimore. Dearest grandfather of Rickey Carter, II. Fond Uncle of Ricky, David, Shawnee, and late Darian. Mike was an avid Bears fan. He was a welder for 30 years, working at Union Tank and Faroc for many years. He was a graduate of Hammond Tech. He loved his family and was very proud of his daughter. He was loved by many and will be missed by even more. Funeral Service Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 10 AM at LaHAYNE FUNERAL HOME, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, with Rev. Richard Lee Boshoven, Pastor at Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday from 3 PM until 8 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM at the LaHAYNE FUNERAL HOME.
