Michael "Mike" C. Giba, age 69 of Hammond, IN, passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, May 29, 2018.

Loving Husband of Sherry Giba nee Pinkham. Beloved Father of David M. Giba, Linda M. Giba, Melissa (Fiancé Riann Schwabe) Montgomery, Heather (Robert) Martin, and Kyle Montgomery. Devoted Son of Michael Giba. Brother of Tony (Donna) Giba. Proud Grandpa of Brianne, Hannah and Daylan, and Great-Grandpa of Genevieve. Cherished Son-in-law of Francis Pinkham. Dearest Brother-in-law of Ed (Donna) Pinkham, Jim (Paula) Pinkham, Dean (Michelle) Pinkham and Terry (Perry) Midkiff. Fond Uncle and Cousin of many. Preceded in death by his mother Agnes Giba along with his mother-in-law Karen Pinkham.

Mike was a lifelong resident of the Hammond area. He was in the Highland High graduating class of "67. Mike was a 42 years member of the Pipefitters Local 597. When he could, Mike enjoyed golfing and having a cold Miller Lite. Mike was loved by many and will be missed by more.
