Mary E. Parker, age 65, passed away Friday, June 1, 2018. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Jerry Parker; children: Michelle (Tony) Melgoza, Tonia (Eugenio) Vazquez, Joe (Elizabeth) Hurley, Jose Hurley; 20 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and many brothers, sister, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Hunt and her parents, Louis and Marjorie Conger. Mary was a life long Hammond resident. She enjoyed spending time with her friends playing cards and bingo. Mary will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at LaHayne Funeral home (6955 Southeastern Ave Hammond, IN). Interment will take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
