Mary Anne Holloway, age 84, of Hammond, IN was called to rest on Monday, February 26, 2024.

Mary is survived by her husband, Joseph; Daughters: Donna Lopez and Kathy (José) Feliciano; sons: Chris Lopez and Monico (Damaris) Lopez; multiple brothers, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary was preceded in passing by her parents: Alberto and Margaret Hernandez; sons: Gerald, Anthony and Joseph; sister, Virginia Vasquez; and 6 brothers.

A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at 7:00 PM, with Fr. Charles Mosely officiating at LaHayne Funeral Home located at 6955 Southeastern Avenue, Hammond, IN 46324. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday March 5, 2024, from 4:00 PM until time of service at 7:00 PM.

Mary Retired from St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago as a Nurse. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Legion and longtime member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Hammond.  Mary loved painting, sewing, shopping, and gardening. She especially loved being with her great grandchildren and spending the holidays with her family. She was kind, funny, caring, and strong. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
