Mary "Cathy" C. Nowaczyk nee Siecker, age 66, of Hammond, passed away suddenly Saturday, April 15, 2017. Beloved wife for 43 years to James "Jim" C. Nowaczyk. Loving mother of Jerome (Wanda) Nowaczyk and Paul (Angie) Nowaczyk. Devoted sister of Bruce (Beverly) Siecker, Abby (Barbara) Siecker, Scott (Paula) Siecker, and Laurie (Jeff) Fries. Proud grandmother of Jonathan (Katie) Nowaczyk, Nicholas (fiancé Holly) Nowaczyk, Christina Nowaczyk, Nikki (Dave) Shultz, and Katelyn Holt. Dearest great-grandmother of Juggleton Nowaczyk and Paul Nowaczyk. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Albert and Mary Siecker nee McCullough. Mary was a graduate of Gavit High School. When she could, she enjoyed working outside. Mary was loved by many and will be missed by more.
