Marion Louise Lawrence nee Hilt, age 82, passed away Saturday, October 01, 2011 at Munster Med-Inn. Marion is survived by one son, Charles O. (Karen) Lawrence, Jr, two grandsons, Stephen C. Lawrence and Jonathan M. (Holly) Lawrence, one great-grandson David C. Lawrence and many, many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles O. Lawrence, her parents George and Vivian Hilt, and her 4 sisters and 2 brothers Marion was born February 3, 1929 in Paxton, IL. She lived in Hammond for 47 years. She was employed at Simons Mattress Co for 19 ½ years, before they closed. She worked as a seamstress before retiring from Trade Winds Rehabilitation Center in Gary, IN. Marion was a loving mother and grandmother. Her family was her life Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at 11 AM at LaHAYNE FUNERAL HOME, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond with Rev. Richard Bawinkel, officiating. Interment Concordia Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday from 2PM until 5 PM and 7 PM until 9 PM at LaHAYNE FUNERAL HOME.
