Marilyn J. Grady (nee Cadle), age 79 of Hammond passed away Thursday, May 14, 2009. She is survived by three children; Linda M.(Kevin)McMahan, James R. (Leandra) Grady and Jeffrey L. Grady. Four grandchildren; Dale E. (Angella) Hamann, Lauren G., Paul B. ,and Kyle M. Grady, two great grandchildren Madalyn I. Grady and Blake W. Hamann one Brother George E. Grady and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband James, son Richard Allen, and sister in law, Phyllis Grady. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at 11:00 AM at LaHayne Funeral Home, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, In with burial to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Monday form 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made directly to the family. Marilyn was a lifetime resident of this area and a devoted member of Immanuel United Church of Christ in Highland, IN. She was an avid bird watcher, flower lover and avid reader.
