Born July 14, 1931 in Warrington, England, entered Heaven July 8, 2009. After meeting a young soldier (Husband) Joe in England, Jean made the journey across the ocean to start her new life in America. Joe and Jean were married on May 29, 1952 (57 years ago). She watched as her family grew with children Joe (Debbie) Serbentas, Crystal Falls, MI, John (Cathy) Serbentas, Hammond, IN, James (Barb) Serbentas, East Chicago, IN, Jeannie (Pete) Lenzo, Hammond, IN, Sonny (Diane) Serbentas, Justice, IL, Dorothy Renee (Lecil Butch) Martin, Hammond, IN, along with 17 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren and 1 brother Tom Keddie, Warrington, England. She was preceded in death by her Father, Adam and Mother ,Winifred Keddie. Jean was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Her memory will live on in all that knew and loved her.
