Lynda L. Freeman nee Ransom, age 75, of Hammond, passed away suddenly Friday, November 11, 2016. Loving mother of Dwayne (Lora) Williams and late Gregory "Hoss" Paulin. Proud grandmother of David (Felicia) Paulin, Dawn (Joe) Koontz, and Heather Hardee. Cherished sister of Clarence "Zeke" Ransom, John "Junior" Ransom, late Juanita (late Lawrence) Rhodes, and late Loretta (late Sandy) Oxley. Beloved daughter of late John Ransom, Sr. and late Margaret Ransom nee Sernau. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Beloved friend to granddog Puddles Lynda was a familiar face at Teibel's for almost 50 years. She went to many concerts with her Teibel's girls. Lynda was a huge Chicago Cubs fan and was finally able to say they were World Series Champions. She was loved by many and will be missed by more.
