Lyle L. Holcomb, age 60, of Hammond, Indiana passed away Saturday, January 06, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband for 19 years to Pamela "Pam" N. Holcomb nee Welch. Loving father of Bill (Katie) Dowell and Autumn Holcomb. Proud grandpa of Liam Dowell and 1 on the way. Dearest brother of many and fond uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Mary Holcomb.

Lyle was a longtime member of the Hessville Eagle's and ABATE. He worked for many years as a customer first clerk at the Hammond Food 4 Less. Lyle was a die-hard Cubs fan and was grateful to finally see them win the World Series. He enjoyed his many road trips on his 1958 Panhead Harley-Davidson and camping. Lyle loved being a grandpa. He was loved by many and will be missed by more.
