Luz I. Canales Pagan, age 70 of Rolling Prairie, IN (formerly of Hammond, IN) passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021.

Luz in survived by her children: Julio (Lisa) Pagan, Luz Evelyn (Terry) West, David (Sondra) Pagan and Carol (C.I.) Hubbard; grandchildren: Alexandra Pagan, Julio Pagan III, Sarah Pagan, Isabella Pagan, Timothy West, Desiree Pagan, David Pagan Jr., Aidan Pagan, Steven Ledesma, Antonio Ledesma, Alexis Ledesma, Naomi Hubbard, Ava Hubbard and Christian Hubbard.  Luz was preceded in passing by her husband, Julio L. Pagan.

Luz loved her family more than anything.  During the holidays her family would always look forward to her "famous" rice & macaroni and potato salads.  She enjoyed travelling with family.  Luz loved playing BINGO and looked forward to her Casino nights.  Her proudest earned title was "Grandma".  Luz was loved and will be missed by all.

A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at LaHayne Funeral Home 6955 Southeastern Avenue Hammond, IN. 46324 at 11:00 with Pastor Orlando Soler of Life Point Church officiating.  Friends are invited to meet with the family on Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.  Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN.
