Lucille C. Schubert nee Jakubowicz, age 89, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 21, 2015.

Lucille is survived by many nieces, nephews, and godchildren who she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Theodore "Ted" Schubert; her parents Dominic and Catherine Jakubowicz nee Pers, and her brothers Edward, Walter, Andrew, Joseph, and Alex Jakubowicz. Lucille retired after 30 years of service with the State of Indiana Employment Agency.

Lying in State on Saturday, July 25, 2015 from 10 AM until time of Mass at 11 AM at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, 7113 Columbia Ave., Hammond, IN with Rev, Rick Orlinski, Pastor officiating. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. John Bosco Church, American Diabetes Assoc., or the Humane Society Calumet Area would be appreciated.
