Lucille A. Rohde, age 90, formerly of Hammond and Whiting, IN, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2010. She is survived by her caregiver and friend of 30 years, Eva (Scott) Flores and her daughters, Natalia, Nicole and Nikayla; 2 nephews, Chuck (Mary) Rohde and Dale (Susan) Rohde; 2 nieces, Dianne Rohde and Diana (Julian) Meyers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Rohde, and 2 sisters, Mildred Robbins and Beatrice Stawitcke. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 24, 2010 at 11 AM from LaHayne Funeral Home, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, IN with Dr. Bassam Abdallah officiating. Burial will follow at Concordia Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Monday Morning from 10 AM until time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Bethesda Lutheran Home, Watertown, WI. Lucille was a lifetime resident of this area, worked in the office at Globe Roofing and was a member of Golden Times.
